In search of office inspiration, we’re heading across the Atlantic to the tech capital of the world, San Francisco, where this super-chic workspace is located. Part of a modern high-rise, it boasts jaw-dropping views across downtown – as long as the infamous fog stays away!
Divided into two connected-yet-separate halves, the principal day-to-day work area is further broken up into three streamlined zones, offering optimum versatility and function. These include a primary workspace governed by our expansive SEOUL desk, which is confidently positioned next to floor-to-ceiling storage that ensures the space always looks neat and tidy and ready for the day’s business.
Window-side, a NEW YORK console and AGRA stool establish a multipurpose set-up that capitalises on the vista, providing a change of perspective when needed. Balancing out the floorplan, a small meeting area combines our PINOT II table, MONACO armchairs and BROOME ceiling lamp. A circular arrangement, it feels relaxed and informal – perfect for team get-togethers and ideation sessions.
Accessed through sliding partition doors, let’s step into the second part of the layout. A smart, systematic meeting room, it feels professional yet welcoming thanks to a wealth of tactile materials including fabrics, wood, lacquer and brass and a palette of neutral hues. Able to easily accommodate ten colleagues or clients thanks to our TRIBUTO II table and BAHRU II chairs, illumination is provided by the seven-shade NEPAL ceiling lamp. Full of clean lines and repeat shapes, this space possesses a sense of order and calm. Overlooking a tranquil garden featuring a placid pond and a wall of greenery, it brings the vital energy of Mother Nature into the heart of the city and day-to-day working life.
