To begin with, the bright and airy office’s contemporary architectural lines were softened with a timeless palette of soft neutrals that are punctuated with elements of dark wood and highlights of brushed brass. These elevated materials are both introduced via a selection of sophisticated and functional furniture designs that would feel equally at home in an elegant living space.
The primary workstation – positioned near the window to make the most of the natural daylight and at a jaunty angle to add to the spatial flow – pairs the sculptural BALI desk with the LE HAVRE dining armchair, both designs immaculately reimagined in creamy lacquer. Hung directly above this arrangement, the three pendant DURHAM ceiling light provides essential lighting on darker days.
Nearby, a generous breakout area offers a chance to gain a different perspective on the task at hand and lends a casual vibe to meetings. Centred around the inviting MILOS sofa, it also incorporates the mid-century-style BRASILIA armchair and stool, twin-volume PAROS coffee table and BERLIN side table, while a CLOS table and floor lamp, plus twin VIENNA wall lamps, add layers to the lighting scheme. In the corner, a LISBON pedestal in grey wood veneer elevates a favourite sculpture, making it visible from any position within the room, while twin DHAKA bookcases, placed either side of double doors, add visual height and more display space or storage.
Meanwhile, at the opposite end of the space, glimpsed through sliding doors, is the lobby where guests are greeted. Kitted out in a similar style with a CADIZ pedestal table overhung with an oversized DARWIN ceiling lamp, a consistent visual tone is maintained from one room to the next.
