Defined by edifices of dark wood veneer at either end, its curved silhouette promotes conviviality and enlivens the interior’s clean-lined architecture. Complementing this is the sweeping solid wood frame of the AMER armchair and the multi-tiered, circular forms of the SEATTLE coffee table and ARENDAL side table. Close by, the elegant SIENA sideboard provides smart storage with its mix of shelves and drawers, while the OMAN table lamp with its brushed brass and faux-leather stem illuminates objects selected for display.

DINING ROOM

FRATO’s designers enjoy elevating pieces by adding interest in unexpected ways, and this dining room showcases a number of pieces which meet that brief. At its core is the sophisticated AMMAN table, which pairs a plain wood veneer surface with a sculptural base of interlocking curves edged in brass. Supplementing this is the sinuous MASCATE chair, which on closer inspection reveals contrasting upholstery and decorative brushed-brass embellishments at the legs, while the NEPAL ceiling lamp, whose seven uniform silk shades are subtly reflected in the bronze mirror ceiling plate, illuminates the whole. Bringing equilibrium to this central arrangement are the SANTORINI tall cabinet and NAPLES floor lamp on one side, and a MEISSEN cupboard, accessorised with the TRIER table lamp and KOBE mirror, to the other.
